Applications of Grinding Wheel Dressing Stick
For truing, cleaning, and dressing diamond, CBN, and conventional abrasive wheels.
Sharpen fine edges on all types of tools including knives, blades, and precision cutting tools.
Tips:
Resin and Vitrified Bond, Diamond and CBN wheels
Choose a dressing stick one or two grit sizes finer than the abrasive in the wheel- in a soft grade (H or I)
Metal Bond, Diamond and CBN wheels
Choose a stick the same grit or one grit size coarser than the abrasive in teh wheel – in a medium grade (K-M)
Aluminium Oxide (White)
For dressing and cleaning CBN wheels; these sticks also work well for diamond wheel.
Silicon Carbide (Black)
Coarse grit (16-46) and hard-grade (R and harder) sticks are used for dressing conventional vitrified wheels. Finer grit and softer grades are used for dressing diamond wheels.

Combined tungsten carbide seal ring is widely used in oil refinery, petrochemical plants, fertilizer equipment, and pharmaceutical industry.
The mechanical seal ring is the most important component of a mechanical seal. The seal ring determines the seal performance and service life to a large extent. A good seal ring needs to have the below characteristics:
(1)High strength and rigidity, and it will not deform easily when the pressure and temperature change.
(2)The sealing end face shall have high corrosion resistance.
(3)High heat shock resistance. No cracking under thermal shock.
(4)The seal ring has a small friction coefficient and good self-lubrication. In case dry friction occurs for a short time, the sealing face will not be damaged.
(5)The seal ring shall be simple and symmetrical, and the integral structure is preferred. Avoid coating the seal end face.

Tips in tungsten steel grinding
Make a reasonable choice of grinding parameters, and adopt the method of fine grinding with smaller radial feed rate or even fine grinding. Reducing the radial feed rate and wheel speed, increasing the axial feed rate can reduce the contact area between the grinding wheel and the workpiece, improve the heat dissipation conditions, and effectively control the increase of surface temperature. Reasonable selection and dressing of grinding wheel, white corundum grinding wheel is good, its performance is hard and brittle, cutting force is small, grinding heat is small, medium grain size is used in grain size, such as 46-60 mesh, and medium soft and soft (ZR1, Zr2, and R1, R2) are used for wheel hardness, that is, coarse-grained and low hardness grinding wheel can reduce cutting heat.
Select the appropriate coolant. The coolant has the three functions of cooling, washing, and lubrication. Keep the lubrication clean, so as to control the grinding heat within the allowable range, hence to prevent the thermal deformation of the workpiece. Improve the cooling conditions during grinding, such as using oil-immersed grinding wheel or internal cooling grinding wheel. When the cutting fluid is introduced into the center of the grinding wheel, the cutting fluid can directly enter into the grinding area to play an effective cooling role and prevent the surface burn of the workpiece.
