In the late 1970s, China's Jiangsu, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hangzhou have begun to design and manufacture gastrointestinal staplers. To the early 1980s, USSC (United States Surgical Corporation) of the United States introduced a new generation of the disposable surgical plastic stapler, which has been widely used in clinical practice.
Basic Working Principle of Surgical Staplers
